Warrie Digital

Terms of Use

These Terms of Use govern access to and use of the Warrie mobile application, the website at warrie.com.au, and related services provided by Warrie Digital.

By creating an account or using Warrie, you agree to these Terms and the Warrie Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Warrie.

1. About Warrie

Warrie is a practical record-keeping tool designed primarily for independent Australian disability support workers. It assists users to create and organise participant, shift, note, medication, incident, expense, mileage, document and report records.

Warrie Digital is a software provider. It is not an NDIS provider, health service, emergency service, legal practice, accounting service or clinical decision-maker.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into these Terms. You must provide accurate account information, keep it current and protect your login credentials and device.

You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless caused by a failure for which Warrie Digital is legally responsible. Tell us promptly at support@warrie.com.au if you suspect unauthorised access.

3. Your authority to record information

You must only enter, upload, access, use or share personal and sensitive information where you have lawful authority and a genuine work-related purpose.

You are responsible for obtaining any participant, nominee, guardian, employer or other authority required for your collection and handling of information. You must follow applicable privacy, confidentiality, NDIS, employment, health-record and professional obligations.

4. Accuracy and professional responsibility

You are responsible for reviewing and confirming every record before relying on, submitting, exporting or sharing it. Warrie does not verify that a note, time, distance, expense, medication entry or other record is complete, accurate or compliant with your professional obligations.

Warrie does not prescribe medication, recommend clinical action or replace professional judgment. Medication reminders are reminders only; administration must be independently checked, performed and recorded by an authorised person.

Warrie is not intended for emergencies. Contact emergency services by calling 000 where required.

5. Scribe and automated assistance

Scribe is not active as an external generative-AI processing feature at Phase 1 launch. If drafting or language-assistance features are introduced later, any generated suggestion must be reviewed and confirmed by the user. Automated assistance must not be treated as an observation, fact, clinical conclusion or professional advice.

6. Acceptable use

You must not:

7. Your content

You retain ownership of information and files you enter into Warrie. You grant Warrie Digital a limited licence to host, process, back up, reproduce and transmit that content only as reasonably necessary to provide, secure and support Warrie and comply with law.

You are responsible for maintaining any independent copy or export needed for professional, tax, audit, insurance, employment or NDIS purposes. Warrie should not be your only copy of a record you are legally required to retain.

8. App permissions and third-party services

Some functions rely on device permissions or third-party services, including Google Firebase, Google Sign-In, maps, location, camera, files, notifications, browsers, email and sharing destinations. Their availability and operation may be governed by their own terms and privacy practices. Disabling permissions or third-party services may prevent related Warrie functions from working.

9. Reports and exports

Reports and exports are generated from information available to Warrie at the time. You must review them before use. You are responsible for selecting authorised recipients and securely handling exported files.

Warrie does not guarantee that an export will satisfy the evidentiary, invoicing, taxation, audit or record-keeping requirements applying to your particular work.

10. Availability and changes

We aim to provide a reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability. Maintenance, device settings, internet access, third-party outages, testing, security events or circumstances outside our reasonable control may affect Warrie.

We may repair, update, replace or discontinue functions where reasonably necessary. We will provide reasonable notice of material changes where practicable.

11. Fees and subscriptions

Any price, subscription period, renewal arrangement, trial or cancellation condition will be disclosed before purchase. Additional terms shown at purchase may also apply.

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

12. Suspension and termination

We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect users, participants, Warrie or third parties; investigate misuse or security incidents; comply with law; or address a serious breach of these Terms.

Where practicable, we will explain the reason and provide an opportunity to resolve the issue. Immediate action may be taken where delay would create material risk.

You may stop using Warrie at any time. Account deletion is governed by the Privacy Policy and Account Deletion page. Before deletion, export any records you are required to retain.

13. Intellectual property

Warrie, Scribe, the Warrie branding, software, interface and original content supplied by Warrie Digital are owned by or licensed to Warrie Digital and protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms give you a limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use Warrie for its intended purpose; they do not transfer ownership.

14. Consumer guarantees and liability

Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law where it applies.

To the extent permitted by law, Warrie Digital is not responsible for loss caused by inaccurate information entered or confirmed by a user, use without authority, failure to follow professional obligations, disclosure to a recipient chosen by the user, loss of a user-controlled export, third-party services, or use of Warrie as a substitute for professional or emergency advice.

Where liability may lawfully be limited, our liability will be limited to a remedy available under applicable law, including resupplying the affected service or paying the reasonable cost of resupply where appropriate.

15. Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you are responsible for loss reasonably suffered by Warrie Digital arising from your unlawful use of Warrie, deliberate misuse, infringement of another person’s rights, or material breach of these Terms. This clause does not apply to the extent the loss was caused by Warrie Digital or cannot lawfully be allocated to you.

16. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. The parties submit to the courts of Queensland and courts entitled to hear appeals from them, subject to any rights that cannot lawfully be limited.

17. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes to Warrie, our business or applicable law. We will publish updated Terms here, update the “Last updated” date and provide additional notice where a change materially affects users.
