Warrie Digital
Delete your Warrie account
Warrie users can request permanent deletion of their account and associated data even if they no longer have the app installed.
Before requesting deletion
Please:
- export any records you need to keep;
- consider professional, taxation, insurance, employment, NDIS or other record-retention obligations; and
- contact us from the email address registered to your Warrie account, where possible.
Deleting Warrie does not transfer your professional record-keeping responsibility to Warrie Digital.
How to request deletion
Email support@warrie.com.au with the subject Delete my Warrie account.
Please include:
- the name on the account;
- the registered account email address; and
- a simple statement confirming that you want the Warrie account and associated data permanently deleted.
Do not send your password, participant health information or identity documents unless Warrie Digital specifically requests an appropriate verification step.
When the in-app deletion pathway is available, users may also begin a deletion request through Settings → Delete account.
Verification
To prevent malicious or unauthorised deletion, we will verify that the requester controls the account. Verification may include responding from the registered email address, signing in again, or completing another proportionate security check.
We will never ask you to send your Warrie password by email.
What will be deleted
Following successful verification, deletion will ordinarily include:
- the Warrie authentication account;
- the worker profile and settings;
- participants owned by the account;
- shifts, notes, medication records and incident reports owned by the account;
- expenses, mileage and related records;
- uploaded documents, receipts, photographs and business logos; and
- other account-linked Warrie data in active systems.
Information that may be retained
Limited information may be retained where reasonably required by law, regulatory obligations, security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution or enforcement. Any retained information will be restricted to that purpose and deleted or de-identified when retention is no longer required.
Residual copies may remain temporarily in protected backups until the normal backup cycle expires.
Timing and confirmation
We aim to acknowledge a deletion request within seven days and complete a verified request within 30 days where practicable. We will tell you if verification, legal requirements or exceptional technical circumstances require additional time.
We will confirm when the request has been completed or explain any information that must temporarily be retained and why.
