The important things to know about Warrie, your records and how the app is being built.

About Warrie

What is Warrie?

Warrie is an Australian record-keeping app designed for independent NDIS support workers. It brings shift records, daily notes, mileage, expenses, medication records, incident reports and important documents together in one place.

Who is Warrie designed for?

Warrie is initially designed for independent support workers who manage their own participants, shifts and records. Features for larger providers and support-worker teams may be introduced later.

Is Warrie operated or approved by the NDIS or NDIA?

No. Warrie is an independent product and is not operated, endorsed or approved by the NDIA or the Australian Government.

Warrie helps support workers organise their records, but using the app does not automatically guarantee compliance with every NDIS, legal, employment or business obligation.

What information can I record in Warrie?

Depending on the version and features available, Warrie can help manage participant details, scheduled and completed shifts, daily support notes, medication records, incident reports, expenses, receipts, mileage, documents, certificates, reports and exports.

Privacy and security

Where is my Warrie data stored?

Core Warrie records use Google Firebase services configured for an Australian region where available. Some authentication, security, support, network or service-provider processing may occur outside Australia.

More detail is available in the Warrie Privacy Policy.

How is my information protected?

Warrie uses authenticated access, owner-based database and storage controls, encrypted network connections and security testing. Its access controls are designed so each account owner can access only the records associated with their account.

No internet service can guarantee absolute security. Users must also secure their device, protect their login details and handle exported files carefully.

Can other Warrie users see my participants or records?

No. Warrie accounts are separated, and other Warrie users cannot browse your participants, shifts or records.

Does Warrie use participant information for generative AI?

No external generative-AI processing of participant notes or records is planned for Warrie’s Phase 1 launch. If a future AI feature is introduced, Warrie will update its privacy information and provide any notice or consent required before activating that processing.

Using Warrie

Can I export my records?

Warrie includes reporting and export tools so records can be reviewed, downloaded or used when preparing invoices and other business documentation. Available formats may depend on the report and version of the app.

Does Warrie create NDIS invoices?

Warrie’s reports can help collect the information needed to prepare invoices. Automated invoicing and additional business tools may be introduced as Warrie develops.

What happens if I lose or replace my phone?

Your records are connected to your Warrie account rather than being stored only on your phone. You can sign in on a replacement device using your account details.

Contact Warrie Support promptly if you believe somebody else may have accessed your device or account.

Does Warrie work without an internet connection?

Some information may remain visible temporarily, but a reliable internet connection is recommended for signing in, synchronising records, uploading documents and ensuring changes are saved correctly.

Can Warrie replace professional, medical or legal advice?

No. Warrie is a record-keeping tool. It does not provide medical, legal, accounting or NDIS compliance advice.

In an emergency, follow the participant’s support plan and emergency procedures and contact the appropriate emergency service.

Accounts and support

How much does Warrie cost?

Current plans, pricing and included features will be displayed on the Warrie website and in the app. Any paid subscription will be clearly explained before payment.

How do I request access to or deletion of my account information?

Use the account options available in Warrie or follow the instructions on the Account Deletion page. You can also email support@warrie.com.au from the email address connected to your account.

Warrie Support may need to verify your identity before processing the request.

How do I report a problem or suggest a feature?

Email support@warrie.com.au. When reporting a problem, describe what happened and include a screenshot if helpful—but do not email sensitive participant information unless requested through an appropriate secure process.
